Kyiv shelter procurement defendant Drozdova attends court from abroad
Olga Drozdova, head of the Department of Education of the Dniprovska District State Administration in Kyiv, is participating in court hearings from Turkey. As reported by Glavkom, this is evidenced by a court ruling, which states that the official is in Antalya and is connecting to the hearings via video conference.
The court agreed to this format for the case after a request from the lawyer. The document states that Drozdova is being treated at the Medical Park Antalya medical complex and "cannot move." She attached copies of medical documents and a rental agreement to the request.
The prosecutors did not object to the remote format, and the court, "in order not to delay the consideration of the case," allowed her to participate in the hearing online.
At the same time, the court directly noted: Drozdova's other explanations, in particular the statement about the danger of staying in Ukraine due to the war, are not valid, because she had already presented the same arguments before and still participated in the hearings.
Drozdova has been officially wanted since late August 2025. She left Ukraine the day before the scheduled interrogation and serving of a detention petition in the case of purchasing generators at inflated prices.
In another proceeding being heard in the Dniprovsky District Court of Kyiv - regarding the entry of false data into official documents - prosecutors also requested her search, but the court refused, choosing only a coercive pretext.
Recall, Olga Drozdova is a figurehead of the EBK base.
