Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, Natalia Maksymenko, has been mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office suspect her of extortion and receiving illegal benefits.

This was told to journalists of the publication "Word and Deed" by interlocutors in law enforcement agencies. According to the interlocutors, Maksymenko has been in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of May, namely in the 422nd separate battalion of unmanned systems.

Because of this, on May 16, the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court left without consideration the request of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of Maksymenko's suspension from his position in the prosecutor's office.

Previously, the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court lifted restrictions on movement within Ukraine , but extended the remaining duties assigned to the Deputy Head of the Zaporizhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, Natalia Maksymenko, until May 24.
