Kyivpastrans official to stand trial over embezzlement
The capital's law enforcement officers sent to the court the case materials regarding an official of Kyivpastrans, who is suspected of embezzlement during the purchase of railway equipment.
This was reported to the Kyiv police.
According to the investigation, the events in question occurred in 2023. Then, an official of the enterprise concluded a contract with a private enterprise for the supply of structural elements for railway tracks for the amount of about 5 million hryvnias from the city budget.
But, as the police claim, in the reporting documentation the prices for railway equipment were indicated above the market prices. The overpayment amounted to more than 1.1 million UAH. In July 2025, an official of the Kyivpastrans KP was charged with embezzlement of money from the budget. The investigation has now been completed.
We will remind, the Kyiv City Council exposed a large-scale land scheme worth UAH 94 million.
