SAPO Sends Chernivtsi Customs Case to Court image

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has sent to court criminal proceedings about a criminal organization at the Chernivtsi customs, whose activities caused more than UAH 290 million in losses.

This was reported by the press service of the SAPO. According to journalists, the former head of Chernivtsi customs Mykola Salahora, deputy head of the Chernivtsi customs department Hennadiy Potseluyko, deputy head of the Chernivtsi customs post Mykola Nikulescu, Andriy Remarchuk, Ihor Savko, and Serhiy Bilobrytskyi are accused in the case.

SAPO and NABU sent a case to court against six members of a criminal organization that operated at the Chernivtsi customs. The losses from its activities amount to UAH 290 million. The actions of the members of the criminal scheme were qualified under Part 1 of Article 255, Part 2 of Article 364, Part 3 of Article 212, Part 4 of Article 345-1, Part 3 of Article 368, Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Previously, NABU and SAPO completed investigating the case of a criminal organization at the Chernivtsi customs, where the suspects include the former head of this customs Mykola Salahor and entrepreneur, owner of Zhesar Andriy Remarchuk.
