The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council deputy Vyacheslav Kolesnikov until March 24, 2025. NABU and SAPO suspect him of providing over UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to the director of the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.

As is known, the court arrested Kolesnikov with the alternative of 1 million UAH bail. This money was paid for him and he was released from the pre-trial detention center under the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; to report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in this criminal proceeding and witnesses, and to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.

The SAPO prosecutor again requested an extension of the procedural obligations for another two months. The judge partially granted the request.

To extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused. To set the term of the resolution until March 24, 2025 inclusive
