The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solsky until April 3. NABU and SAPO suspect him of co-organizing land grabbing in Sumy region.

As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested the Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solsky until June 24. As an alternative, he was set a bail of UAH 75.7 million. These funds were paid and he was released from custody. The suspect was given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and work; to refrain from communicating with witnesses in this criminal proceeding and other suspects in this case; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, Solsky's electronic bracelet was removed and the ban on leaving Kyiv and the Kyiv region was lifted. Therefore, the SAPO prosecutor requested that the remaining obligations be extended.

The petition is granted. To extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect (Solskyi - ed.) for two months, on the basis of Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. To determine the term of the duties imposed by the court on the suspect until April 3, 2025 inclusive.

Also, NABU and SAPO completed investigating the case on suspicion of former Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky in organizing a scheme to seize state lands in the Sumy region with a total area of ​​about 2.5 thousand hectares and attempting to seize another 3.3 thousand hectares.
