The High Anti-Corruption Court extended until December 21 the term of office of the former Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Markiyan Dmytrasevich.

NABU and SAP suspect him of involvement in the case of former Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solsky.

As you know, the anti-corruption court took Dmytrasevich into custody. A 20.28 million hryvnias deposit was determined as an alternative to it. These funds were deposited and the suspect was released from custody. The following duties were assigned to him: to arrive at every request; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to report a change of residence and work; refrain from communicating about the circumstances of the case with other suspects, witnesses and designated persons; deposit foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, the bracelet was removed from him. Therefore, the SAP prosecutor asked to extend the remaining duties.

The request to extend the term of the duties assigned to the suspect (Dmytrasevich - ed.) should be granted. Extend the suspect's term of office for two months - until December 21, 2024

- is being decided.

Markiyan Dmytrasevich is a member of the EBK base.

It will be recalled that NABU and SAP reported the suspicion to the Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solsky, his deputy and other persons involved. According to the investigation, the participants of the scheme ensured the destruction of documents on the basis of which two state-owned enterprises in the Sumy region had the right to permanent use of land. Due to their absence, the regional State Geocadastre drew up an act on the arbitrary occupation of these plots.

Later, with the help of controlled officials of the regional State Geocadastre, plots were transferred to the ownership of pre-determined citizens under the guise of realizing their right to free land. At the same time, the condition of obtaining land ownership was the signing of an agreement on its lease to a private agricultural holding even before the moment of acquisition.

As a result of the implementation of the scheme in 2017-2021, the participants of the scheme took possession of 1,250 land plots with a total area of 2,493 hectares, the value of which at the time of the crime was more than UAH 291 million. They also attempted to seize 3,282 hectares of land worth about UAH 190 million, but they were prevented by NABU detectives and SAP prosecutors, who conducted searches and seized the plots.

We will remind, HACC has extended the duties of AMCU chairman Kyrylenka until December 25.

Also, earlier we wrote that HACC removed the head of the Rivne customs office because of a bribe.
