The higher anti-corruption court extended until January 26 the term of office of the people's deputy from the "Servants of the People" faction Lyudmila Marchenko. The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office accuses her of abuse of influence for receiving $11,300 in illegal benefits.

Such a decision was made by HACC on November 26.

As you know, the anti-corruption court has re-imposed duties on Marchenko. She is obliged to: arrive at every request; to report a change of residence and work; refrain from communicating with witnesses; to deposit foreign passports. The prosecutor of the SAP asked to extend the duties again.

It will be recalled that the SAP referred the case of People's Deputy Lyudmila Marchenko to the court. According to the indictment, the deputy, together with her assistant Anastasia Kolesnyk, promised the citizen, for a monetary reward, to ensure that he obtains a permit to leave Ukraine, as well as enter relevant information into the information system "The Way".

Earlier it became known that HACC acquitted the judge in Onyshchenko's case.
