Court Extends MP Marchenko’s Obligations image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of MP Lyudmila Marchenko from the Servant of the People faction until March 21. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses her of abuse of influence for receiving $11,300 in illegal benefits.

As is known, the anti-corruption court has once again imposed obligations on Marchenko. She is obliged to: appear upon every request; report any change in her place of residence and work; refrain from communicating with witnesses; and surrender her foreign passports. The SAPO prosecutor once again requested an extension of the obligations.

The motion is granted. The term of the duties assigned to the accused is extended until March 21, 2025 (Marchenko – ed.)

As a reminder, the SAPO has referred the case of People's Deputy Lyudmila Marchenko to court. According to the prosecution, the deputy, together with her assistant Anastasia Kolesnyk, promised the citizen, in exchange for a monetary reward, to obtain a permit to travel outside Ukraine, as well as to enter relevant information into the Shlyakh information system.
