Court cuts Grinkevych’s bail to UAH 34 million
The Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv extended the preventive measure for Roman Hrynkevich - detention - until February 14, 2026. At the same time, the suspect's bail was once again reduced - from UAH 69 million 644 thousand to UAH 34 million 822 thousand. This is reported by "Suspilne".
During the court hearing, the prosecutor stated that if the preventive measure is changed, there are risks that the accused may go into hiding or influence witnesses, in particular, representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
Hrynkevich has property in the Czech Republic, he may be hiding outside the country. He was also put on the wanted list on January 18, 2024. He may evade justice by crossing state borders.
The defense insisted that the charges were unfounded. Roman Hrynkevich's lawyer asked the court to change the preventive measure to house arrest or reduce the amount of bail. He also added that his client's health had deteriorated in the pre-trial detention center.

Roman Hrynkevich stated in court that he did not violate the law, and his detention for a year and 11 months is groundless. The court ruled to extend the defendant's preventive measure - arrest until February 14, 2026 with the right to post bail. Its amount was reduced to 34 million 822 thousand UAH.
The detention of other defendants in the case was also extended and their bail was reduced: Volodymyr Tymkiv (from UAH 28.8 million to UAH 15.4 million), Viktor Kuzminsky (from UAH 33.3 million to UAH 15.14 million), Andriy Kolotyl (from UAH 19.7 million to UAH 9.084 million). The preventive measure will be reviewed again in February 2026.
