Bila Tserkva Official Detained for Bribery

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that they have detained the director of one of the municipal institutions of the Bila Tserkva City Council. He is suspected of bribery. According to the investigation, for 15 thousand US dollars, the official promised to influence employees of the military medical commission (MMC) to remove him from military registration.

This was reported by the Kyiv Region Prosecutor's Office. According to the prosecutor's office, the official was detained "red-handed."

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the head of a municipal institution was exposed and today, June 25, immediately after receiving an illegal benefit, he was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The issue of reporting suspicion under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
