Three suspects in Kyiv bribery scheme for vehicle registration
In Kyiv, law enforcement officers have exposed the illegal activities of three citizens. They are suspected of illegally re-registering cars and motorcycles at service centers.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv.
It is noted that among the suspects are two men and a woman who found "clients" and demanded bribes for the quick re-registration of vehicles.
Thus, for a monetary reward of 4,000 to 8,000 hryvnias, the suspects promised "clients" to speed up the procedure for re-registering cars and motorcycles without waiting in an electronic queue.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspects and charged them with Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article provides for up to eight years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
