Midas Case Suspect Myroniuk Released to House Arrest

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has changed the preventive measure for former advisor to the Minister of Energy Ihor Myronyuk, known as "Rocket", in the "Midas" case on corruption in the energy sector.
This was reported by the organization Transparency International Ukraine.
The investigating judge supported the motion and placed Myronyuk under 24-hour house arrest.
The basis for this decision was the expiration of the maximum period of detention during the investigation.
Among the other suspects, Myronyuk spent the longest time in custody - almost 1 year. He is now required to remain under house arrest and comply with his obligations, including wearing an electronic bracelet.
According to the investigation, Myronyuk, as part of the "barrier" scheme at Energoatom, received money from another suspect and transferred it to a back office located in an apartment associated with former pro-Russian MP Andriy Derkach.
Ihor Myronyuk is a figure in the EBK database.
