Head of Lviv Medical Facility Dismissed Following Doctor's Bribery Case

The Lviv Health Department fired the director of the 1st Prince Lev City Hospital, Marta Sokolovska, due to an incident involving the detention of Maria Mazur, the head of the hospital's department, for a bribe. Maria Mazur, an allergist, was arrested on October 23 for a $3,000 bribe.

On the same day, the health care department of the Lviv City Council reported that the manager Marta Sokolovska, in whose team the incident occurred, was dismissed from the position of manager.
