Ivano-Frankivsk to Liquidate Municipal Architecture Bureau
In Ivano-Frankivsk, the municipal enterprise "Architectural and Planning Bureau-IF" is being liquidated, the head of which, Hryhoriy Kachan, was suspected of corruption in May 2026. The decision to liquidate was made by the city council during an extraordinary session, Suspilne reports.
Orest Koshyk, Director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, said during his speech that the main reason for this decision was the unprofitability of the enterprise.
But I want to emphasize that the specialists who work there will not go anywhere. They will work in another utility company and will perform the functions they have performed to date.
The decision was supported by 28 deputies. According to it, the liquidation commission, created by the executive committee of the city council, should deal with the termination of the enterprise's operations.
