The High Anti-Corruption Court has approved a preventive measure against former Deputy Prime Minister and former Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Olga Stefanishina in the form of a bail of 6 million UAH.

This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Center.

The decision was announced by a judge of the HACC after considering the prosecution's motion.

As noted, in addition to posting bail, Stefanishyna was assigned a number of procedural obligations, in particular, she must respond to every call from NABU detectives, report any change of residence, and refrain from communicating with witnesses in the case.

Stefanishyna, in a comment to the media, stated that she currently does not have the funds to post bail.

I don't have the funds – not 13, not 10, not 6 [million]. But, of course, I will look for these funds to be able to post the bail.

– she said.

According to the former ambassador, she plans to consult with lawyers about the possibility of appealing the court decision. She also said that she already has plans for further work, but they do not concern the civil service.

We previously reported that a scheme for military personnel to escape from units for bribes was uncovered in the Kyiv region.
