According to the investigation, Shyl, officials of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" and other accomplices ensured that a private company was identified as a supplier of power transformers at an inflated price. The transformers were purchased in Uzbekistan and delivered to Bulgaria, where they were already purchased by a private company controlled by a citizen of Belarus who often visits Russia.
Later, UZ purchased these transformers at an inflated price, which caused the company 94.8 million UAH in losses. An organized group took possession of these funds and disposed of them at its own discretion.
Shila was also informed of suspicion of organizing the misappropriation of UZ funds during the purchase of cables.
