HACC Schedules Trial in State Medicines Agency Bribery Case

The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing on the case of Yuriy Kozodoy's accusation of attempting to bribe Roman Isayenko, the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control, for $10,000.
To schedule a trial of the criminal proceedings on the accusation (of Kozodoy – ed.) of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in an open court session in the courtroom of the High Anti-Corruption Court at 08:00 on March 7, 2025
The court also extended until April 27 the term of the obligations imposed on Kozodoy, namely: to arrive upon first demand; not to leave the territory of Ukraine without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with the witness and to hand over his international passports for safekeeping.
As a reminder, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has referred a case to court about bribing the head of the State Medical Service. According to the prosecution, the defendant offered the head of the agency $10,000 in cash for assistance in obtaining permits for a foreign company.
The person was exposed immediately after the transfer of the agreed funds.
Previously, the head of the State Emergency Service in Beregov was detained for taking a bribe.
It also became known that the judge of the Supreme Court of Arbitration for Sport closed the case regarding the bribe to Klitschko.
