HACC extended duties for Zaporizhzhia regional council deputy
The HACC has extended the term of office of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council deputy Vyacheslav Kolesnikov until December 27. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of providing over UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to the director of the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
The court arrested Kolesnikov with the alternative of 1 million UAH bail. This money was paid for him and he was released from the pre-trial detention center under the following obligations: to report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in this criminal proceeding and witnesses, and to hand over his foreign passports.
The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office again requested to extend the procedural obligations for another two months. The court supported the prosecutor's request.
To extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused (Kolesnikov). The term of the resolution shall be set until December 27, 2025 inclusive.
