HACC extended duties for ex-head of state enterprise image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of Alla Sushon, the former director of the state-owned enterprise Ukrkomunobslugovuvannya, until December 28. She is suspected of receiving illegal benefits.

As is known, the anti-corruption court set a bail of UAH 5 million for Sushon with the imposition of obligations. She is obliged to: appear upon first demand; not leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; report any change of her place of residence and place of work; hand over her foreign passports and refrain from communicating with a number of persons.

Later, her travel restrictions in Ukraine were lifted. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that her remaining duties be continued.

To extend the period of validity of the duties imposed on the suspect (Suchon – ed.), in connection with the application of a preventive measure in the form of bail, for two months

– the decision states.

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported a new suspicion of the former head of the state enterprise "Ukrkomunobslugovuvannya". According to the investigation, in December 2022, the director of the state enterprise "Ukrkomunobslugovuvannya" received an illegal benefit in the form of a discount on the purchase of two apartments from persons associated with the developer Serhiy Kopystyra for signing agreements on the provision of a land plot owned by the state for development on terms that do not comply with the law.

According to the NABU and SAPO, after signing contracts with the director of the state-owned enterprise, her son and a close person acquired ownership of an apartment in a residential complex in the capital at a price more than 5 times lower than the market price.

Alla Sushon is a figurehead of the EBK base.
