HACC Extends Obligations for Ex-Dnipro RMA Deputy Head
The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of the former First Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Orlov, until February 18, 2025. The NABU and the SAPO suspect him of requesting an illegal benefit.
The Anti-Corruption Court released Orlov on bail of UAH 15 million. The Appeals Chamber increased the bail to UAH 22 million . The suspect is obliged to: appear upon first demand; not leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; report any change of his place of residence and/or place of work; refrain from communicating with witnesses; hand over his foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet. The SAPO prosecutor requested that the duties be extended for another two months.
The prosecutor's motion to extend the term of the duties shall be granted. To extend the term of the duties of the suspect (Orlova - ed.) stipulated in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The term of the resolution shall be set at two months - until February 18, 2025
We also wrote earlier that the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left unchanged the preventive measure in the form of a 30 million UAH bail with a number of obligations for the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Valentyn Reznichenko.
