HACC to hear case on illegal border-crossing scheme
The High Anti-Corruption Court has assigned to consider the merits of criminal proceedings on charges of judges of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City District Court of the Odessa region, Valentyn Zaveryukha and Serhiy Savytskyi, assistant judges Stanislav Gintser and Olga Kalantyrenko, as well as lawyer Stanislav Klymenko, in organizing a scheme to send men to military service abroad.
To schedule a public hearing of the materials of the criminal proceedings against (Kalantyrenko Olha Mykhailivna, Savytsky Serhiy Igorovich, Zaveryukha Valentyn Oleksiyovych, Gintser Stanislav Viktorovich, Klymenko Stanislav Yuriyovych) on May 21, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in the premises of the Higher Criminal Court. The materials of the criminal proceedings shall be considered by a single judge.

As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested Judge Savitsky. As an alternative, they set a bail of UAH 1.5 million for him. They paid this money and assigned duties to the judge.
Recall, according to the investigation, the scheme consisted in the adoption of decisions by judges of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City District Court of the Odessa region on the alleged independent upbringing of a child by a father under fabricated circumstances. These decisions allowed men to avoid mobilization and leave the country under the pretext of caring for a child. For $ 3,500, without the participation of the parties, a decision was adopted in one court session, which gave the right to travel abroad. In total, the investigation identified 1,040 such decisions.
