HACC to Hear Case of Sumy Regional Council Deputies

The higher anti-corruption court, a panel of three judges, will hear the case on the accusation of Sumy Regional Council deputies Volodymyr Potseluyev and Magomed Galayev of providing an illegal benefit to the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko, as well as preparing to seize funds.

Such a decision was made by HACC.

As indicated, MP Galaev appealed to the court with a request to hear the case collegially with three judges, as he is accused of committing a particularly serious crime.

To satisfy the request of the accused (Galaeva - ed.) for a collegial review of the criminal proceedings on the charge (Potseluyeva - ed.) of committing criminal offenses provided for in part. 3 Art. 369, ch. 1 Art. 2 p.m. 5th century 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, (Galaeva - ed.) in the commission of criminal offenses provided for in part. 3 Art. 369, ch. 4 Art. 27 hours 1 Art. 2 p.m. 5th century 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

Volodymyr Potseluev and Magomed Galaev are members of the EBK database.

We will remind, according to the version of the investigation, the deputies of the Sumy Regional Council offered money to the head of the Sumy CMA for the expansion of the hospital by joining it with other medical institutions, as well as for appointing one of the deputies to the position of chief doctor. In addition, the deputies proposed to provide the official with 10-20% of the allocated volume of budget financing of the newly established medical facility. During the transfer of the first tranche in the amount of 50,000 dollars, deputies were detained "red handed"

Earlier it became known that HACC convicted a judge and an assistant in absentia for bribery.
