HACC acquits ex-MP Dolzhenkov, SAP to appeal image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has acquitted former MP Oleksandr Dolzhenkov of charges of misappropriating 700,000 hryvnias in compensation for renting housing in Kyiv. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will appeal this verdict.

At the same time, the SAPO claims that they disagree with this court decision and are preparing an appeal.

The SAPO prosecutor will appeal the verdict of the Supreme Court of Criminal Appeals of February 28, 2025, by which the former people's deputy was found not guilty of committing a criminal offense under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The SAPO prosecutor disagrees with the above-mentioned court decision and will defend his position in the court of appeal.
