The higher anti-corruption court imposed a preventive measure in the form of a bail amounting to UAH 2 million to the head of the repair department of the Central Aviation and Air Defense Support Department of the Armaments Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Kostyantyn Buta. He is suspected of abuse.

The NABU detective and the SAP prosecutor asked to apply a preventive measure to Bhut in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 3.63 million. He was also asked to be assigned the following duties: to arrive at the first request; not to leave the Kyiv region without permission; to report a change of residence and work; refrain from communicating with other suspects and witnesses; deposit foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet.

The NABU detective's request, agreed by the SAP prosecutor, to apply a preventive measure in the form of a bail, is partially granted. Apply a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 2,000,000 to the suspect (But - ed.). The period of validity of the duties assigned by the investigating judge shall be determined for two months, i.e. until January 22, 2025, however, within the period of the pre-trial investigation

We will remind you that at the end of November, the Counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the detectives of the NABU, exposed a large-scale corruption scheme in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the investigation, in 2022–2023, officials of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces concluded contracts with a controlled intermediary company at artificially inflated prices. Thus, the state budget suffered a loss of 27.3 million hryvnias.
