HACC sets bail for MP Anna Skorokhod

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has imposed a preventive measure on MP Anna Skorokhod. She is suspected of inciting to give a bribe for the application of NSDC sanctions to a competing company. She does not admit her guilt.
The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) imposed a preventive measure on Anna Skorokhod in the form of a bail of 3 million 28 thousand hryvnias.
Anna Skorokhod's lawyer told the media that bail for the MP has not yet been paid, as it is not possible to make the payment immediately after the court hearing. The decision on the bail will be made on December 10.
The prosecutor in the case said that Anna Skorokhod's accomplice met with the interested party and demanded to transfer 150 thousand US dollars. The person indicated his willingness to transfer only 50 thousand. Later, the person agreed to an advance payment of 125 thousand dollars, but the interlocutors insisted on the full amount of 250 thousand dollars.
The prosecutor asked the court to determine a preventive measure in the form of a bail of more than 10.5 million UAH. The prosecutor identified the following risks for Anna Skorokhod: possible concealment, since this is a serious corruption crime; in 2025 there were 4 trips abroad; the presence of a wide range of contacts, including in law enforcement agencies; the incriminating article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Anna Skorokhod's lawyer stated that the MP does not admit her guilt. The lawyer insisted on drawing attention to the protocols, which record the MP's correspondence and SMS messages during the period when the person involved in the case allegedly met with the interested party, from whom "money was demanded". The lawyer states that the messages do not contain any mention of sanctions or officials, and do not prove Skorokhod's participation in the transfer of funds.
Anna Skorokhod herself stated that she never took or demanded money. According to her, the full video of the investigation allegedly does not contain the evidence that the prosecutor cites, and there are no suspicions or sanctions imposed for which she was allegedly supposed to be paid - the video is just a cut.
She denies her role as a "guarantor" in the conversations of other people involved in the case. She also notes that she was supposed to leave for the US on December 6 for a meeting, but the NABU searches were conducted the day before.
It's my job to travel abroad and prove that Ukraine is not a corrupt country.
Recall, we previously reported that law enforcement officers exposed a criminal group led by a deputy.
We also wrote that the HACC set bail for the assistant to People's Deputy Skorokhod.
