HACC Extends Restrictions on Former DFS Head Nasirov Again image

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of the former head of the State Fiscal Service, Roman Nasirov, until April 10. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of receiving illegal benefits from oligarch Oleg Bakhmatyuk.

As is known, Nasirov was released from custody on bail. He was also given the following obligations: to appear when summoned; not to leave the Kyiv region without the court's permission; to notify the court of a change in his place of residence; to refrain from communicating with persons specified in the court's ruling; to hand over his foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet. The SAPO prosecutor again requested that the defendant's obligations be extended for another two months.

The motion of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused (Nasirov – ed.) is granted. The term of the duties assigned to the accused is extended by two months. The term of the duties is set until April 10, 2025.

Previously, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) decided to reduce the bail for the former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov from 31 million hryvnias to 27 million hryvnias in the case of abuses in the "gas schemes" of former People's Deputy Oleksandr Onyshchenko.
