Supreme Court suspends confiscation of ex-Kyiv police official’s assets

The Supreme Court has suspended the execution of the decision to confiscate assets registered to relatives of the former Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv, Taras Polienko.
As noted, at the suit of the anti-corruption prosecutor's office, the following will be recovered from the official: an apartment in the Zarichny residential complex with a total area of 220.5 sq. m and two parking spaces with an area of 13.8 sq. m each with a total value of 3.67 million UAH, as well as income from their sale for 4.97 million UAH.
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court did not significantly change the decision, but left the confiscation unchanged. Therefore, the defendants filed a cassation appeal and requested to stay the execution of the decisions.
To suspend the execution of the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court of November 19, 2025, taking into account the changes made by the resolution of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court of April 30, 2026, regarding the recovery of the cost of the apartment in the amount of UAH 3,327,929 and the income received from its sale in the amount of UAH 4,972,571, to the state revenue, until the end of its review in cassation proceedings
