HCJ Panel Recommends Dismissal of Lviv Region Judge
The First Disciplinary Chamber of the High Council of Justice applied disciplinary action to Lviv judge Yuriy Bilous - a motion for dismissal from office, and he was also temporarily suspended from administering justice.
In the event that the body considering cases of bringing judges to disciplinary responsibility adopts a decision to impose disciplinary sanctions on a judge in the form of a motion to dismiss the judge from office, such judge shall automatically be temporarily suspended from administering justice until the High Council of Justice adopts a decision to dismiss him from office. Judges shall be considered temporarily suspended from administering justice without the adoption of a separate decision by the High Council of Justice
The HCJ reports that Yuriy Bilous is a judge of the Mostyskyi District Court of Lviv Oblast (seconded to the Lychakiv District Court of Lviv). The final decision on the dismissal of the judge will still be considered by the High Council of Justice
