On March 6, 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court convicted the Deputy Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Ihor Haiduk, who was detained for attempting to receive a bribe of UAH 1.8 million, and sentenced him to 8 years and 2 months in prison.

The court found the official guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 8 years and 2 months in prison with deprivation of the right to hold positions in state authorities for a period of 3 years and confiscation of the Toyota Avensis car.

The investigation established that in June 2023, the deputy head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, together with another deputy, asked the entrepreneur for UAH 1.8 million for payment of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration's debt to the company for work performed and accepted in 2022, as well as for assistance in concluding new and financing existing contracts with this company.

As for the other deputy, the materials regarding him have been separated into a separate proceeding, but the consideration has been suspended due to his mobilization.

Previously, the head of the State Emergency Service in Beregov was detained for taking a bribe.
