Case story: On December 5, 2025, NABU and SAPO reported the exposure of an organized criminal group in Kyiv led by a member of parliament. Later, Anna Skorokhod, a member of parliament from the For the Future party, confirmed that the searches were conducted specifically at her home.
Law enforcement officers also published a video in which the People's Deputy, together with accomplices, demands a bribe of $250,000 from an entrepreneur. The attackers promised that they would hand over the bribe to members of the National Security and Defense Council, who, in turn, would impose sanctions on the competitor's company.
In a video released by NABU, which apparently captures the moment of negotiations between Skorokhod and her assistant with a representative of the society, the deputy convinces him to write a receipt.
She speaks Russian and uses foul language.
All I can do is hire guys who will f*** you up in the alley somewhere. But that's not my style, not my way of life.
She then suggests that the company representative hand her the money and write two receipts, which she will tear up as soon as she receives the rest of the money.
In the video, she also says that "the arrival of the person from your question" cost $5,000 and she is not going to pay it.
What the fuck am I here for, a jar of gin or something?
At the end of the video, the man receives money. The interlocutors do not discuss what exactly the money is for and what issue they promise to resolve.
Skorokhod and her accomplices were charged with Part 4 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (bribery and incitement to commit a crime).
On December 6, 2025, Anna Skorokhod stated that NABU detectives allegedly fabricated a photo with the money seized from her because the photo does not show her apartment.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) applied a preventive measure to Anna Skorokhod, a member of parliament from the For the Future party. The politician is the main defendant in the case of inciting an entrepreneur to give a $250,000 bribe for allegedly applying NSDC sanctions to a competing company.
According to Transparency International Ukraine, Skorokhod was set a bail of over 3 million 28 thousand UAH, and was also given a number of procedural obligations, including wearing an electronic bracelet.
It is noted that the SAPO prosecutor requested the election of a preventive measure for the People's Deputy in the form of a bail of over UAH 10.5 million and the imposition of a number of procedural obligations.
Skorokhod's lawyers, in turn, stated that their suspect was not involved in the crime, the suspicion was unfounded, and the bail requested by the prosecutor was excessive. The defense asked that the prosecutor's request be denied or a personal bond be applied or the bail amount be reduced.
On December 7, the HACC imposed a preventive measure on one of Anna Skorokhod's accomplices. The court remanded him in custody with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of UAH 4.5 million.
The court also imposed a preventive measure in the form of a 1.5 million UAH bail on the assistant to People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who is also involved in the case.
In January 2026, the Appeals Chamber of the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court changed the preventive measure for People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who is suspected of receiving illegal benefits. She was set a bail of 4 million hryvnias. It is known that Skorokhod previously wore an electronic bracelet. The suspected People's Deputy, commenting on her case, stated that she "never demanded money or gave bribes."
Persons potentially involved in corruption schemes: According to media reports, there are three suspects in the Skorokhod case. One of them was detained - the deputy director of the Osprey Global Solutions Ukraine charitable foundation, Andriy S.
On December 7, the HACC chose a preventive measure for one of Anna Skorokhod's accomplices. The court sent him to custody with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of UAH 4.5 million. Skorokhod came to support the detainee and told the media that he was her friend.
The court also imposed a preventive measure in the form of a 1.5 million UAH bail on the assistant to People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who is also involved in the case.
Wealth: in 2025, Skorokhod acquired another property. The 100-square-meter apartment in Vyshgorod became the parliamentarian's fifth.
The agreement to purchase housing in Vyshgorod, a city on the shores of the Kyiv Sea, according to the deputy's declaration, is dated August 27, 2025. The apartment with an area of 118.7 sq. meters was purchased for 2.4 million hryvnias (or 20.2 thousand UAH/sq. m) - a price below the market price. After all, the average cost of a square meter of residential real estate in this city is 44.3 thousand UAH/sq. m, that is, the Skorokhod apartment should have cost twice as much.
The deputy earned, as indicated in the declaration for 2024, 647 thousand hryvnias, and 175 thousand hryvnias in alimony are also included among the income. Skorokhod had 28 thousand hryvnias and 584 euros in her bank accounts last year. This is not the only real estate that the deputy owns. She also owns, either alone or in shares with her relatives: an apartment of 73.7 square meters in Vyshgorod, purchased for 22 thousand hryvnias in the summer of 2003 (shares in it belong to Alla Andreenko and Margarita Skorokhod), an apartment of 98.6 square meters in the village of Gora, Boryspil district, purchased in the summer of 2019 for 900 thousand hryvnias, an apartment of 53.7 square meters in Kyiv, purchased in October 2022 for 1.2 million hryvnias (the declaration states that the right to use it belongs to the deputy's son). Skorokhod rents another 89-square-meter apartment in Kyiv from citizen Natalia Patsalyuk.
The deputy also has several land plots in the village of Dudarivka, Boryspil district, purchased in 2015: 1.2 hectares for 142 thousand hryvnias, 3 hectares for 143 thousand hryvnias, 1.2 hectares for 144.7 thousand hryvnias, 2.8 hectares for 147.2 thousand hryvnias.
In addition, the deputy declares jewelry of unknown brand and value, and her own car - Infiniti QX60 (2017 model year) and another - Volkswagen Multiven (2014 model year) Skorokhod rents from Ukrloadsystem LLC.
Persons who should have reacted: in the case of Skorokhod, law enforcement officers reacted in a timely manner.
Scandals: in July 2019, while still a candidate for people's deputies, she organized campaign concerts for the "League of Laughter" and Vasyl Zhadan in cities in the Kyiv region.
After the elections, she was elected to parliament in the 93rd constituency from the Servant of the People party and joined the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services. After starting work in the Rada, she joined the Servant of the People faction, but later reported pressure and political persecution.
On November 14, 2019, she publicly stated that her husband's arrest was related to her voting against the faction's position on the unbundling of Naftogaz and land reform. On November 15, 2019, Skorokhod was expelled from the faction. The head of the SN faction, David Arakhamia, claimed that Skorokhod did not support the party's decisions and offered bribes to MPs. He also emphasized that she lobbied for the interests of certain oligarchic groups. In response, Skorokhod spoke of pressure, political persecution, and claimed "payments in envelopes" to MPs.
On July 3, 2020, she joined the "For the Future" parliamentary group, and since 2023, she has headed the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the investigation of possible violations in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In 2019-2020, she participated in 55% of votes, was absent in 38%, and did not vote in 8%. During the second reading, she supported 60% of decisions, abstained in 13%, was absent in 18%, and did not vote in 7%. She was also on the list of deputies who blocked the lifting of parliamentary immunity.
In October 2025, she was among the deputies who supported an appeal to the Nobel Committee with a proposal to nominate US President Donald Trump for the Peace Prize, explaining this as a demonstration of loyalty. In the same year, she accused the 30th Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of appointing relatives of generals to key positions, which allegedly causes losses. The corps command said that she was spreading false information and threatened to sue.
