Lawyer Nosov Fined UAH 6,656 During Appeal Proceedings

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a 6,656 UAH fine on lawyer Oleksiy Nosov, who was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for offering to provide $200,000 in illegal benefits to prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office for transferring part of the case of businessman Mykhailo Kiperman to another body.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found lawyer Oleksiy Nosov guilty of offering a bribe. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison. He was also deprived of the right to practice law for 3 years. The defense filed appeals.
To deny the accused (Nosov) the right to hold a court hearing via videoconference. To recognize the accused's reasons for not appearing at the court hearing on August 3, 2026 as disrespectful.
