The motion is partially granted. To change the obligation imposed on the accused (Hromyk – ed.) by the decision of the investigating judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine dated February 21, 2025, “not to leave the territory of the Vyshnivska and Lyubomylska ATCs of the Kovel district of the Volyn region without the permission of the detective, prosecutor or court” to the obligation “not to leave the territory of Ukraine without the permission of the prosecutor or court

– the decision states.

Oleksandr Gromyk is a figure in the EBK database.

NABU and SAPO accuse Gromyk of creating a criminal organization at the Volyn customs. As is known, the anti-corruption court reduced Gromyk's bail to UAH 5 million, which was paid for him.

He was released from custody and was given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave the territory of the Vyshnivska and Lyubomylska AHs of the Kovel district of the Volyn region without permission; to report a change of his place of residence; to refrain from communicating with a number of people; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, the electronic bracelet was removed from him, and the case itself was transferred to the merits. At the same time, Judge Shkodin still considered the defense's motion to change the preventive measure, although it was supposed to be considered by the panel of judges that received this case.
