HACC Appeals to Review Vlasenkova’s Appeal on October 7

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled for October 7 the consideration of appeals against the verdict sentencing former judge of the liquidated District Administrative Court of Kyiv, Olena Vlasenkova, to 5.5 years in prison for receiving unlawful benefits.
As is known, the anti-corruption court found former judge Vlasenkova guilty of receiving illegal benefits. She was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison, with a ban on holding positions in state authorities for 3 years, and confiscation of all property. The accused and her defense lawyers filed appeals.
