The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing on September 3 on appeals against the verdict sentencing former Volyn Regional Council member Valentyn Koshelnyk to 3.5 years in prison for abuse of influence.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found former deputy of the Volyn regional council Koshelnyk guilty. He was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison with a three-year ban on holding positions in state and local government bodies. The court ordered the former deputy to be taken into custody before the verdict becomes final. The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the defendant's defense lawyers filed appeals against this verdict.

To complete preparations for the appeal hearing. To schedule the appeal hearing on the appeals of the SAPO prosecutor and the defense lawyers of the accused (Koshelnyk) against the verdict of the HACC dated May 14, 2026, for 10:00 on September 3, 2026 in the premises of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine
