Court keeps former Volyn regional deputy Koshelnyk in custody
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has remanded in custody former Volyn Regional Council deputy Valentyn Koshelnyk, who was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for abuse of influence.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found former deputy of the Volyn Regional Council Koshelnyk guilty. He was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison with a three-year ban on holding positions in state and local government bodies. The court ordered the former deputy to be taken into custody until the verdict becomes final.
At the same time, Koshelnyk's defense attorney filed a motion to change his client's preventive measure.
