Appeals court to review conviction of Kyiv lawyer Oleksii Nosov
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing for August 3 to consider appeals against the verdict sentencing lawyer Oleksiy Nosov to 4.5 years in prison for offering to provide $200,000 in illegal benefits to prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office for transferring part of the case of businessman Mykhailo Kiperman to another body.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found lawyer Oleksiy Nosov guilty of offering a bribe. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison. He was also deprived of the right to practice law for 3 years. The defense filed appeals.
To complete the preparation and schedule the consideration of the proceedings on appeals against the verdict of the Supreme Court of Justice of Ukraine dated June 9, 2026 in criminal proceedings on charges of (Nosov) committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in an open court session in the premises of the HACC at 2:00 p.m. on August 3, 2026. In the event that it is impossible to consider the criminal proceedings on August 3, 2026, schedule court sessions for 1:00 p.m. on August 17 and September 16, 2026 until 5:00 p.m.
