The Appellate Chamber of the Higher Anti-Corruption Court left the case to HACC on the accusation of the chairman of the liquidated District Administrative Court of Kyiv, Pavlo Vovka, his deputy, Yevhen Ablov, and others, of creating a criminal organization.

The request of the defense attorney to transfer the criminal proceedings to another court of jurisdiction shall be rejected. The decision enters into force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal in the cassation procedure

Earlier, HACC assigned the case of "Vovka tapes" to be considered on the merits.

In the case, the head of the DASK Vovka (who created and headed a criminal organization that made decisions for money), his deputies Yevhen Ablov and Volodymyr Celeberda, judges of the DASK Oleksiy Ogurtsov, Igor Kachur, Igor Pogribnichenko, Bohdan Sanin, former head of the State Judicial Administration Zenovia Kholodnyuk, are accused in the case. ex-members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges Serhiy Ostapets and Mykola Sirosh, as well as lawyer Oleksandr Krotyuk.
