The high anti-corruption court scheduled a preliminary hearing on October 24 in a new case on charges against Vladyslav Trubitsyn of the Kyiv City Council and two of his assistants, Ilya Lif and Artem Belinskyi, of receiving illegal benefits for the appointment of the director of the utility company "Zhytniy Rynok".

Such a decision was made by HACC, "Slovo i Dilo" reports.

To appoint a preparatory court session at the High Anti-Corruption Court on October 24, 2024 at 09:00 a.m. in the criminal proceedings on the indictment (Trubitsina - ed.), in the commission of a criminal offense provided for in Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; (Belinsky - ed.) in the commission of a criminal offense provided for in Part 5 of Art. 27, Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; (Lifa - ed.) in the commission of a criminal offense provided for in Part 5 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

Earlier, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office referred a new case of Kyiv City Council member Vladyslav Trubitsyn to the court.

According to the investigation, at the beginning of 2021, deputy of the Kyiv City Council Trubitsyn, with the help of his assistant Artem Bilinskyi and a close person Ilya Leaf, expressed a request to a citizen of Ukraine to provide an illegal benefit in the amount of $30,000. For this money, the politician had to take actions regarding the appointment of a specific person to the position of deputy director of KP "Zhytniy Rynok", and later to the position of director.
