HACC Allows Krupa’s Husband and Son to Travel Abroad for Treatment

The High Anti-Corruption Court allowed Volodymyr and Oleksandr Krupa to participate in the next meeting via video conference due to their travel abroad for treatment.
This became known during the second preparatory meeting in the case of the family of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC.
Volodymyr Krupa explained that he will undergo a medical examination abroad from September 30 to October 11, and his son Oleksandr will accompany him. Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of Ukraine Denys Kovalenko allowed them to participate remotely only for the next session. Further participation in sessions outside Ukraine will require a separate court decision.
In addition, Volodymyr Krupa's defense attorney, Tetyana Honcharuk, has for the second time announced the disqualification of judge Denys Kovalenko. The lawyer believes that his procedural behavior indicates bias during the consideration of the criminal proceedings.
Tetyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr are suspects in the EBK base.
Earlier, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office sent a case to court against the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, former deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council Tetyana Krupa. The SAPO prosecutor sent an indictment to court against the former head of the MSEC, her husband and son. They are accused of illegally enriching themselves by UAH 160 million.
