Ex-Judge Kononenko Appeals Sentence

The Supreme Court will consider an appeal against the sentence that sentenced former judge of the Leninsky District Court of Poltava, Serhiy Kononenko, to 5 years in prison. The convict himself filed an appeal.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found Kononenko guilty and sentenced him to 6 years in prison. Later, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the verdict, but reduced the sentence to 5 years in prison. The convicted ex-judge himself filed a cassation appeal.
