A plane and millions of dollars: the fortune of the head of the BES in Poltava region

The head of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Poltava Oblast Oleg Pakhnits declared the plane, dozens of plots of land and several million dollars in cash.

This is evidenced by Pachnitz's declaration for 2023, which shows income of $6.5 million. In particular, he declared the acquisition of a Socata TB 20 GT single-engine aircraft, 30 plots of land, several cars, a residential building, apartments, parking spaces and real estate in Slovakia.

According to the media, the market value of the aircraft with the registration number UR-COL is estimated at approximately $415,000. Pachnitz indicated that the plane belongs to the agricultural enterprise "Progress", of which he was the beneficiary.

Despite the high declared wealth, Oleg Pakhnits receives the salary of a civil servant with a salary of UAH 700,000 per year. He became the first millionaire among the employees of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, who officially declared such income and property.
