A mobilization evasion scheme has been uncovered in the Kharkiv region. According to the prosecutor's office, the man wanted to get a job with the State Emergency Service to avoid service.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on March 3.

According to the investigation, the former head of one of the departments of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region offered to help with this for $1,500.

The suspect reported that he had numerous connections in the State Emergency Service, so he would be able to easily negotiate employment with the agency. The suspect explained that employees of the Service have reservations, so this would allow them to move freely around the country and avoid military service.

On February 27, a former rescuer was detained while handing over money and a State Emergency Service employee's ID. He is currently in custody. Law enforcement officers are investigating whether the suspect handed over a genuine ID to a conscript.

We will remind, in Zaporizhia, a TCP official was detained for a bribe.

It also became known earlier that the SAPO is demanding the confiscation of the property of the former head of the TCP in Kharkiv.
