Odesa judge dismissed for fake rulings to evade mobilization

A judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City District Court in the Odessa region has been dismissed from his position. He is suspected of corruption.
This was reported by the NABU press service on December 12.
According to the investigation, the judge, for a monetary reward, made fictitious decisions on raising a child by the father, not the mother. Thanks to this, men of draft age received a deferment and the right to travel abroad. The cost of the service was 3.5 thousand dollars, and the number of fictitious decisions reached 348.
Among the defendants in the case were the head of the court, the former head of the court (current judge), a judge, a deputy chief of staff, three assistant judges, a court specialist, a court secretary, three lawyers, an assistant lawyer, and a civilian who is a citizen of Ukraine. Nine participants in the scheme have already been sentenced. Five more are among the suspects.
We will remind, in Chernihiv region, the State Bureau of Investigation detained a prosecutor for taking a bribe.
We also reported that a former Defense Ministry official was exposed in a ship sales scheme.
