NABU Charged 41 MPs for Corruption During War image

From 2016 to 2024, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau reported suspicions to 68 current and former people's deputies. Of these, 41 were reported between 2022 and 2024.

This was reported to NABU.

As the agency indicates, "typical" crimes involving MPs are as follows:

• misappropriation, embezzlement or taking possession of property through abuse of official position;

• receiving a bribe;

• abuse of power;

• declaring false information;

• illicit enrichment.

At the same time, NABU does not indicate how many cases against people's deputies have reached court and how many convictions have already been passed.

We will remind you that earlier a tax officer in the Kyiv region was caught taking bribes from entrepreneurs.

We also wrote that the Supreme Court of Justice acquitted former People's Deputy Dolzhenkov.
