The High Anti-Corruption Court instructed the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to search for a witness in the case against the former head of the Kirovohrad region prosecutor's office Svitlana Klyukina and her accomplice Serhiy Levin for receiving $6,800 in illegal benefits.

Previously, the court repeatedly used the pretext of the specified witness, but they were unable to bring him to the hearing. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office asked to entrust the NABU with his search.

The prosecutor's request is partially granted. To instruct NABU to conduct investigative actions - to interrogate persons who are aware (may be aware) of the witness's location and to serve the witness with a summons to appear in court. According to the prosecution, in 2016, Svetlana Klyukina, head of the procedural management department of the Kirovohrad region prosecutor's office, with prior consent from an individual named Serhiy Levin, demanded and received an illegal benefit in the amount of $6,800 for withdrawing an appeal in a criminal case. In addition, detectives established the fact of forgery and theft of official documents .

It was previously reported that the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider an appeal against the verdict sentencing People's Deputy Andriy Odarchenko to 8 years in prison for providing an illegal benefit to the former head of the State Reconstruction Agency, Mustafa Nayem.
