NABU Charges Bryndak with Bribery Incitement

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau reported on the suspicion of Serhiy Bryndaka in inciting the accused judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odessa, Lyudmila Saltan, to provide an illegal benefit to the leadership of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is stated in the decisions of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court and confirmed by the interlocutors of "Word and Deed" in anti-corruption bodies.
As is known, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses Judge Saltan of receiving undue benefit from a citizen for making a positive decision in a civil case in his favor. Later, Saltan was mobilized into the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and holds the position of a reserve soldier, but the court refused to stay the consideration of the case in this regard.
The accused judge Saltan learned about Serhiy Brindak from her friend and wrote to him about her case. He noted that she needed to be transferred to a combat unit as soon as possible and stop the case. Brindak noted that he had friends in such combat units and they would be able to provide her with the relevant certificate, which would be the basis for stopping the case in court. He also emphasized that he could ensure an acquittal for Saltan. The judge agreed to Brindak's services.
Let us remind you that Lyudmila Saltan is a figurehead of the EBK base.
On July 9, Saltan handed over UAH 40,000 to Brindak as part of the ill-gotten gains. Brindak asked the judge to take the second part of the ill-gotten gains of USD 144,000 to a currency exchange office in Kyiv and divide them into the following three parts: USD 115,000, USD 25,000, and USD 4,000. These funds had to be handed over to the currency exchange office and the transaction code had to be given. On August 28, Saltan did so.
On August 29, NABU and SAPO reported on the suspicion of Bryndak in a completed attempt to incite to provide an illegal benefit to an official (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 4 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
On September 2, the High Anti-Corruption Court took Bryndak into custody with the option of a 4 million UAH bail. This decision has not yet been published in the court registry. On September 4, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left this decision unchanged.
As a reminder, on March 29, 2023, NABU and SAPO exposed Lyudmila Saltan, a judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odessa, "red-handed." According to the investigation, the servant of Themis received money from a citizen for making a positive decision in a civil case in his favor. She was exposed immediately after receiving an illegal benefit.
We also reported that they want to put an official from Kyiv on the wanted list.
