NABU completes case against ex-prosecutors in Prykarpattia
NABU and SAPO have completed investigating criminal proceedings on suspicion of the former head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, Roman Khyma, and the former head of the Department for Supervision of Compliance with Laws of this prosecutor's office, Maryan Migashchuk, in receiving unlawful benefits.
The press service of the authorities reported this, but did not specify the names of the defendants. According to media reports, it was Khima and Migashchuk. Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court set bail for the former head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The SAPO prosecutor decided to complete the pre-trial investigation in the case against the former head of the prosecutor's office of one of the regions and the head of the supervision department of this institution. On February 26, 2026, the SAPO and NABU informed them of suspicion under Part 3, 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
