Lviv land agency chief remanded in custody with UAH 89.8 million bail
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has imposed a preventive measure on Andriy Kavetsky, the head of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre of Lviv Region, who was detained for offering a $30,000 bribe to an employee of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
As journalists were informed by the Prosecutor General's Office, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the head of the regional department of the State Geocadastre with the alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 89.8 million.
The head of the State Geocadastre of Lviv region, Andriy Kavetsky, was detained on July 26 while transferring $30,000 to an employee of the National Anti-Corruption Commission . In this way, Andriy Kavetsky tried to buy a positive conclusion on the lifestyle monitoring that the National Anti-Corruption Commission was conducting against him and his relatives as part of the criminal proceedings. He transferred the money in an alcohol tube.
