Appeals court upholds UAH 150 million bail for former energy minister

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left unchanged the bail amount of UAH 150 million, under which former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko was released from custody in the Midas case .
This was reported by the press service of the AC HACC, but did not mention the name of the suspect. According to media reports, this is Galushchenko, who recently left the pre-trial detention center after posting UAH 150 million in bail.
On July 30, 2026, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the decision of the investigating judge of the HACC of June 12, 2026 on the extension of the term of the preventive measure for the former Minister of Energy of Ukraine in the form of detention with the alternative of paying a bail of UAH 150 million. Based on the results of the consideration, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court dismissed the appeals of the defense and the prosecution.
